Amanda Willer

Director of Marketing

“Working with the aging population is not just a job to me, it's a passion. Connecting with people going through life's changes is where my heart is. The path of life is ever-changing, and not always smooth! Outside of work I enjoy time spent with family and friends! I have lived in Kalamazoo for over 7 years and I truly love where I live--there is always something to do or see, and summers are the best! I'm a WMU alum and I've worked in the aging community for over 5 years. This work is what I love, and I intend to spend many years right here.”

Angie VanderMeulen

Office Manager

After having worked in assisted living for several years, I came to discover that I have a passion for serving the aging population. Assisting both residents and their families with office support and general guidance is very fulfilling to me. I feel incredibly blessed and fortunate to be a member of the Vineyard team as it gives me the ability to be able to do what I love and also be in fellowship with the residents.  Outside of my time at Vineyard, my husband and I enjoy staying active with our four children, family and friends

Jami Dykstra

Life Enrichment Coordinator

My focus is developing the golden rule of do to others as you would want done unto yourself but including enriching lives so each person has a once in their lifetime experience that they never thought would be possible. I have found a deep-rooted passion in the life-enrichment field that I am blessed to call a career. I have been in the health care career for over 20 years and am truly blessed to find myself here at Vineyard. In my free time, you can find my husband, our four daughters and myself, camping or hiking somewhere in Michigan and enjoying a great beach with our two dogs.

Melissa Bivens

Executive Chef

“I was born and raised in Battle Creek, MI and graduated from Pennfield High School with a Basketball Scholarship to Kellogg Community College. After completing college I worked for a few Senior Living Communities in Battle Creek and found my love for cooking. I trained under a very talented Executive Chef for 5+ years where I learned all of my cooking skills on the job. Prior to beginning my position here at Vineyard Assisted Living, I was working as a Traveling Support Chef for a Contracted Food Management Company. I enjoy making food from scratch and helping others improve their cooking skills. I look forward to working alongside the staff and residents here at Vineyard.”
